BIRCH STREET PROJECT
ATTENTION GLENROCK RESIDENTS:
Starting Monday, September 23rd, construction will begin to replace water lines on Birch Street, from 7th – 9th St. Work will only affect the north two lanes, allowing traffic on the south side, both directions. In order to access 7th, 8th and 9th Streets, there will be a detour on both 6th Street and Keller. Aspen will remain open. Residents and businesses will be notified in advance in the case of any water shut-offs, which would be temporary. We will release updates as to the completion of the project. We greatly appreciate your patience as we upgrade our utility lines and improve the town’s infrastructure.

LEAD & COPPER SURVEY
ATTENTION Residents: We need your help with a short 5-minute survey provided by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WYDEQ). They are requesting each resident to submit information on their water service pipe material. This initiative will allow water providers to document the presence of lead service pipes in their systems. Please fill this 1-page survey out, front, and back. You can mail survey back with your utility payment or follow this link to take the survey online at https://www.wyriskit.com.

Region 2 Hazardous Mitigation Plan
The Wy Region 2 Hazard Mitigation Plan has reached the PUBLIC COMMENT & REVIEW phase of the update process.
WY Region 2 HMP Project Update – Public Comment
WY Region 2 (Converse, Natrona, & Niobrara Counties), in collaboration with local governments, has released the final draft of the recently updated Hazard Mitigation Plan. Public comments will be accepted until Friday, June 21st

The hazard mitigation planning committee appreciates all public input that has been received during this planning process. This updated plan will remain active for five years, once approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
